The Paroplastic Method

Paroplastic is an in-person training center dedicated to periodontal plastic surgery and microsurgery, founded by Drs. Benjamin Cortasse and Julien Mourlaas.

Designed exclusively for dental surgeons wishing to deepen their knowledge and refine their practice, Paroplastic was born from a simple ambition: to pass on a rigorous approach grounded in scientific evidence, clinical experience, and knowledge-sharing among peers.

More than just a training organization, Paroplastic aims to be a true think tank where reflection, practice, and exchange come together.

Each program is designed to help practitioners understand the biological and surgical foundations of the techniques taught, and then adapt them to the clinical situations they encounter in their daily practice.

A training program built around three pillars

Scientific Evidence

Every lesson is based on the most up-to-date scientific knowledge. Protocols are explained through validated biological concepts, decision trees, and regularly updated literature. The goal is to help each participant understand the “why” before the “how,” in order to make informed therapeutic decisions.

Clinical Experience

Beyond theory, Paroplastic passes on hands-on practice. Surgical techniques, operative protocols, the details that make a difference, and the many “tips and tricks” acquired over the years are shared with full transparency. The goal is to encourage immediate application in practice, through concrete, directly usable teaching.

Closeness and Conviviality

Training sessions are deliberately organized in small groups to encourage direct exchange with the instructors. This closeness fosters discussion, spontaneous questions, and the sharing of experience in a simple, welcoming atmosphere. During immersion sessions, participants also get to see the day-to-day organization of the practice, with privileged access to the instructors’ working environment.

A Different Kind of Learning Experience

Each session is designed as a genuine moment of sharing. Training programs take place in carefully selected locations, notably in Aix-en-Provence, Chamonix, Annecy, and Pernes-les-Fontaines, to encourage quality exchange in a friendly setting. Discussion time, meals, and informal moments all contribute fully to the learning experience, extending it beyond the working sessions themselves.

At Paroplastic, transmission doesn’t stop at a teaching program.

It rests, above all, on the desire to share a vision of periodontal plastic surgery, to support each practitioner in their progress, and to build, together, a community of peers driven by the same clinical rigor.
